System Requirements

The system requirements for StealthSurfer are largely dependant on the system requirements of Mojopac, the portable computing environment used to power the StealthSurfer:

Hardware

Your system must meet these hardware requirements:

  • USB 2.0 is required. USB 1.1 is too slow to provide an optimum experience for running applications, and therefore it is not supported.
  • 512MB of RAM is required.

Access privileges

You MUST have administrator privileges on the Windows XP computer you are using your StealthSurfer on.

  • MojoPac requires administrator privileges on the host PC.

Operating system

The following operating systems are supported:

  • Windows XP* (32-bit version ONLY, not compatible with Service Pack 3)***
    • Home/Pro (SP1, SP2)
    • Media Center Edition (2003, 2005)
    • Tablet PC**

Sorry, no Windows 2000, Windows Vista, or Mac support. Windows Vista support coming soon.

A note about anonymous web surfing

When you are surfing the web anonymously with Tor or other web proxy services, your web access may slow down. This is because your web traffic is being bounced across other servers, sometimes all over the world, before reaching its destination.
